About Nirrosette
Nirrosette has written short stories and poetry for the local Malay newspaper ever since she was ten and has published three novels so far: Ikhlas A.K! (August 2011), Nah, untuk awak! (May 2012) and Tunggu Aira di Kota Bandung (September 2013). Her latest work, Gaun Pengantin Untuk Hannah is featured in Antologi Cerpen Kerana Dia Ratu Sehari (December, 2013).
She is selected to be an ambassador for the Malay Language Month Campaign, an event that is held annually. She was involved in Singapore Writer’s Festival 2012 and has also represented Singapore in Majlis Sastera Asean Tenggara (MASTERA) conference in Anyer, Indonesia as well as Reaching The World Conference 2013 in Bangkok, Thailand.
In addition to that, she has appeared as guest speaker in several programmes such as Mother Tongue Fortnight and the Malay Language Camp 2013 organized by the National University of Singapore Malay Language Society.
